Government urged to curb inflation and announce relief package

Sodari noted that households are preparing for celebrations including Dashain, Tihar, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath, making effective price management and assistance packages critical for the general public during this period. Furthermore, the appeal underlines the rising financial pressure on families residing in Kathmandu as they prepare for the festive calendar. Authorities have been pressed to take swift administrative action to ease the economic burden on citizens before the celebrations commence.
