Prithvi Highway section to close for three hours today

Vehicular movement along a specific stretch of the Prithvi Highway will remain suspended for a period of three hours. The District Administration Office in Dhading issued a notice stating that the closure affects the Malekhu-Mugling road section. The temporary restriction is necessary to allow workers to install the pedestrian-crossing component of an overhead bridge currently under construction at Majhimtar. The traffic halt will be enforced from 11 am until 2 pm. During this designated window, all categories of vehicles will be barred from using the affected route. Authorities have advised motorists and road users to utilize alternative pathways for their journeys while the construction work is underway. Furthermore, drivers are urged to strictly follow established traffic regulations and maintain road discipline throughout the closure period. The administration stressed that cooperation from all road users is essential to prevent congestion and ensure safety while the bridge installation proceeds at the designated site.
