Uncertainty surrounds the involvement of Pakistani cricketers in the tournament following complications regarding travel and clearance documents. Franchise teams that signed international and professional cricketers from Pakistan for the third edition face obstacles as questions are raised over permissions. According to reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board requested 25000 US dollar fees for each participant to issue clearance certificates. Teams participating in the competition had earlier signed several players, including Sahibzada Farhan and all-rounder Hussain Talat, alongside Iftikhar Ahmed joining Janakpur Bolts. However, reports noted that some players who previously held clearances were barred from participating. While certain athletes have already reached Kathmandu, others have postponed their journeys awaiting a resolution to the administrative hurdle. Queries sent to the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the financial demands received no immediate response. Similar complaints about fee demands for clearance certificates were previously publicised by franchises involved in the Major League Cricket in the United States.
