US dollar up 57 paisa at Rs 155.15 as NRB sets rates

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the Indian rupee at Rs 160.00 buying and Rs 160.15 selling per 100 for 8 October 2026, unchanged from the previous rate. The US dollar is at Rs 154.55 buying and Rs 155.15 selling, up 57 paisa from the previous selling rate. Among the biggest movers by selling rate were the Canadian dollar at Rs 109.09 (up 76 paisa), the South Korean won at Rs 11.60 per 100 (up 5 paisa) and the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 503.49 (up Rs 1.85). The rates are set by Nepal Rastra Bank and may differ from those offered by commercial banks.
