In short

  • The newly built zipline in Resunga measures 568 metres in length.
  • A sky cycling track spanning 110 metres was constructed alongside the zipline.
  • Around 40 people participated in the final testing phase of the adventure facilities.

The final testing phase for a newly constructed zipline and sky cycling setup has been successfully completed in Garjura, a major tourist destination in Resunga, Gulmi. The initiative was designed to boost adventure tourism in the district. Following the successful trials, local authorities confirmed that the infrastructure is now fully prepared for regular operations. The newly established adventure setup features a zipline stretching 568 metres in length alongside a sky cycling track that spans 110 metres. The construction of these tourism facilities was organised and executed under the leadership of the local municipality. During the testing phase, which concluded on the morning of 5 October 2026, approximately 40 individuals personally tried out and experienced the new adventure rides. According to municipal representatives, the local government will directly handle the management and coordination of both the zipline and the sky cycling activities for the time being. The introduction of these adventure sports is expected to attract more domestic tourists to Gulmi, offering them scenic natural views alongside outdoor activities.
