Nepal Rastra Bank sets foreign exchange rates for Saturday

Nepal Rastra Bank published its reference exchange rates for Saturday 26 September 2026, Khabarhub and OnlineKhabar reported. The buying rate for one US dollar is 153 rupees 1 paisa and the selling rate is 153 rupees 81 paisa. For the Indian rupee, 100 units buy at 160 rupees and sell at 160 rupees 15 paisa, according to the central bank. Among the other major currencies, the euro buys at 174 rupees 32 paisa and sells at 175 rupees. The pound sterling is set at 202 rupees 64 paisa for buying and 203 rupees 43 paisa for selling, and the Swiss franc at 184 rupees 46 paisa and 185 rupees 18 paisa. The Australian dollar buys at 107 rupees 55 paisa and sells at 108 rupees 97 paisa, while the Canadian dollar is at 108 rupees 18 paisa and 108 rupees 60 paisa. Rates were also fixed for the Saudi riyal, which buys at 40 rupees 75 paisa and sells at 40 rupees 91 paisa, and for the Qatari riyal at 42 rupees and 42 rupees 16 paisa. The UAE dirham is at 41 rupees 66 paisa and 41 rupees 82 paisa, and the Kuwaiti dinar at 497 rupees 27 paisa and 499 rupees 22 paisa. The Malaysian ringgit buys at 37 rupees 56 paisa and sells at 37 rupees 70 paisa, while 100 South Korean won buy at 11 rupees 29 paisa and sell at 11 rupees 33 paisa. The Chinese yuan is set at 22 rupees 79 paisa for buying and 22 rupees 88 paisa for selling, and the Singapore dollar at 119 rupees 73 paisa and 120 rupees 20 paisa. The central bank said the rates can be revised whenever necessary. It added that commercial banks may set different rates of their own and that the updated table is available on its website.
