Update: Nepal Rastra Bank set the buying rate for one US dollar at 154 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate at 155 rupees 15 paisa, alongside updated figures for European euros and UK pound sterlings. Nepal Rastra Bank released the updated valuation schedule for foreign currencies. The financial authority established specific buying and selling figures for major international tenders, including the European euro at 173 rupees 02 paisa buying and 173 rupees 69 paisa selling, and the UK pound sterling at 204 rupees 42 paisa buying and 205 rupees 21 paisa selling. Additional currencies detailed by the central monetary institution include the Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, and Singapore dollar. The institution also outlined specific transaction values for the Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Swedish kronor, and Danish kronor. The central monetary institution clarified that financial institutions operating commercially may apply varying transaction values.
