In short

  • Susma Chaudhary and Rajina Bista will headline the inaugural 11-bout Fusion Fight event in Lalitpur.
  • Chaudhary defeated Bista in Pokhara in 2024, while Bista won their WBC National Muay Thai match last year.
  • The undercard features a bout between Malla and undefeated 16-year-old prospect Samyok Rai.

Muay Thai competitors Susma Chaudhary and Rajina Bista are scheduled to face each other in the headline match of the upcoming Fusion Fight-Chapter event in Lalitpur. The contest marks the latest chapter in a long-running sporting rivalry between the two athletes, who maintain a close friendship outside of active competition. The upcoming fight card features a total of 11 bouts. The competitive history between the two headliners is closely balanced. Chaudhary emerged victorious when the pair fought at a national tournament in Pokhara in 2024. However, Bista claimed victory in their meeting at the WBC National Muay Thai Championship last year. Responding to claims made by her opponent, Chaudhary stated that even international fighters have been unable to knock her down. Beyond the main event, the debut fight card includes several other matchups. Among them, Malla, who enters the ring with a professional record of five victories and one defeat, is scheduled to compete against 16-year-old Samyok Rai. Rai remains undefeated across his last five professional bouts. Other fighters scheduled for the event include Pemba Chiri Tamang, Gautam Thing, Karna Bahadur Magarati, and Bhola Kumar Rai.
