US dollar down 3 paisa at Rs 154.38 as NRB sets rates

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the Indian rupee at Rs 160.00 buying and Rs 160.15 selling per 100 for 6 October 2026, unchanged from the previous rate. The US dollar is at Rs 153.78 buying and Rs 154.38 selling, down 3 paisa from the previous selling rate. Among the biggest movers by selling rate were the euro at Rs 172.99 (down 78 paisa), the Thai baht at Rs 4.58 (down 2 paisa) and the Danish krone at Rs 23.15 (down 10 paisa). The rates are set by Nepal Rastra Bank and may differ from those offered by commercial banks.
