An aviation enthusiast has transformed his Dubai home to mirror the interior of an Airbus A380 first-class cabin. Arun Rajagopal developed a deep interest in the double-deck aircraft after taking his fourth flight aboard the world's largest passenger plane. To capture the feeling of luxury air travel, he acquired authentic components directly from decommissioned commercial aircraft to construct the specialized living area inside his personal residence. The customized domestic interior includes two original first-class passenger seats that previously served inside the very first Airbus A380 operated by Emirates. Beside the commercial airline seating, the private living space features authentic aircraft cabin lights. The room is further outfitted with a distinctive coffee table manufactured from repurposed aircraft wheels, completing the aviation-themed layout. This unique residential project highlights the dedication of aviation enthusiasts who collect rare airline memorabilia to recreate authentic travel experiences at home. Rajagopal continues to showcase how commercial aircraft parts can be integrated into domestic interior design to celebrate the engineering marvel of the world's largest passenger plane.
