Plans are moving forward to apply gravel to the four-lane route connecting Ghorahi and Tulsipur in Dang once the Tihar festival concludes. Sunil Dhungana, an engineer representing the construction company Shri Diva-Bandana Bhagwati JV, noted that current infrastructural work is wrapping up. The ongoing labor focuses on finishing boundary walls and drainage systems, which have now reached their final stages of construction. Once these remaining groundwork tasks are fully wrapped up, the project teams will immediately begin the scheduled graveling process across the four-lane stretch. The four-lane project has been progressing through multiple phases in the district, with the latest efforts concentrated on completing essential roadside structures before laying the surface material. Officials indicate that operations will accelerate as soon as the festive holiday period ends.
