A series of cultural and charitable gatherings are underway across the Kathmandu Valley today, offering local residents multiple ways to participate in community activities. Music enthusiasts can attend an intimate live performance featuring Rose. This musical offering forms part of a monthly showcase organized by Misfits, which is designed to highlight emerging musical talents and independent sounds that exist outside mainstream commercial channels. For those interested in sports and philanthropy, a charity cycle ride has been organized starting from Jawalakhel and heading toward Godawari. Every single rupee collected from registration fees will be directed straight toward flood relief efforts to assist affected communities. Participants who register for the ride will receive a complimentary T-shirt, a midday meal, and a certificate acknowledging their contribution to the charitable cause. Art lovers have several options to explore across different venues. An exhibition is currently displaying various paintings created by Marcel Wissing Boada. The displayed artworks draw heavy inspiration from urban scenes in Kathmandu as well as broader rural landscapes across the country. Additionally, a practical clay painting workshop allows attendees to decorate, personalize, and varnish their own handmade trinket trays and keyrings to take home as souvenirs.
