Under the schedule published by the project office, vehicles are divided into four distinct categories with separate pricing for inbound and outbound journeys. For category one vehicles, which include cars, vans, pickups, tractors, microbuses, and other light passenger or utility transport, the fee is set at sixty-five NPR for entering Kathmandu and sixty NPR when heading outward. Mini buses and mini tipper trucks falling into category two must pay one hundred and fifteen NPR upon entering the capital, while the outbound charge for this group is established at eighty NPR. Larger commercial vehicles in category three, consisting of standard buses and trucks, face higher levies of two hundred and sixty NPR for entering Kathmandu and two hundred NPR for outbound trips. Category four encompasses multi-axle trucks and heavy equipment machinery, requiring operators to pay six hundred NPR upon entry and two hundred and fifty NPR when exiting the capital area according to the project.
