On a Wednesday morning, visitors gathered at the driving licence trial centre located on the grounds of the Transport Management Office in Ekantakuna to complete their mandatory assessments. Among them, Sumit Pariyar waited for his designated turn, while another applicant, Sujay Timilsina, rushed to the facility following recurring server malfunctions that blocked his attempts to schedule a re-trial online. Timilsina, who originally hails from Gorkha and currently resides in Kupandole, highlighted the digital hurdles faced by applicants attempting to secure booking slots. Operational disruptions in the online system have added to the frustration of candidates trying to finalize their driving credentials through the provincial transport infrastructure. Addressing ongoing administrative shifts, a ministry information officer identified as Sharma outlined upcoming facility relocations across the region. According to Sharma, the Sano Bharyang transport service office is shifting to Balaju to introduce full-scale licensing operations, whereas the Sallaghari facility will be transferred to Koteshwar. Furthermore, officials stressed that all vehicle usage fees at trial centres must strictly follow official government pricing guidelines.
