Nepal is scheduled to play against Canada in an ongoing one-day cricket tournament hosted in Oman. The fixture takes place at Al Amerat Cricket Ground, with proceedings beginning at 11:15 am local time. Both teams enter the match looking to strengthen their standings in the points table. During previous encounters in the series, Nepal secured a 24-run victory over Canada before recording a 113-run win against the host nation Oman. In those earlier matches, Nepal posted totals of 235 runs and 263 runs respectively, whereas Canada put up a total of 256 runs. Ahead of the upcoming fixture, reports note that Nepal needs to focus on containing the opposition batting lineup while improving its own batting performance. A successful result against Canada will guarantee a position in the top six for Nepal. Securing a win in this fixture would also reduce the pressure on Nepal for the final match of the series, which is scheduled against Oman.
