This financial indicator represents an expansion of 23.9 percent relative to the figures recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Inflows averaged in excess of Rs 100 billion per month throughout the two-month duration. Despite the growth in monetary transfers from abroad, indicators concerning outbound employment reflected a downward trend. The total count of individuals acquiring final labour approval for overseas jobs dropped to 78,320 during the period under review. This figure compares with 90,198 workers who obtained final labour approval during the same timeframe a year earlier. Data concerning workforce mobility also highlighted an increase in re-entry approvals. Specifically, 52,163 individuals secured re-entry labour approval during the opening two months of fiscal year 2026/27. This metric showed an upward movement compared to the 45,884 workers who obtained re-entry approvals during the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.
