A newly established suspension bridge connecting Dhunge and Trishuli Bazaar has opened to the public. Officials decided to bring the crossing into service despite pending tasks, keeping the movement of locals and upcoming festivals such as Dashain and Tihar in mind. According to the head of the local contractors association, Shailendra Raj Pyakurel, the primary structure allowing people to cross from side to side along with the main cables has been successfully installed, enabling the early opening. The operational crossing has brought relief to travellers heading towards Rasuwa and Dhading, alongside various wards of Bidur Municipality, Kispang Rural Municipality, and Myagang Rural Municipality. The estimated cost of the infrastructure project stands at NPR 3 crore 18 lakh. The national contractors federation committed to providing NPR 1 crore 50 lakh towards construction, while the local contractors association agreed to cover the remaining deficit.
