The District Administration Office in Palpa has initiated the home delivery of passports to service recipients through the postal service. This system allows individuals who complete the registration form for home delivery to receive their travel documents at their doorsteps, avoiding trips to the district headquarters. Previously, citizens residing in distant areas had to travel to the administrative office to pick up their finished passports. Officials stated that the new procedure frees residents living far from the district headquarters from the burden of travelling, which saves both time and financial resources. Local residents have welcomed the delivery system. Sumit Barghare from Rambha Rural Municipality noted that postal employees delivered his document while his family was planning a trip to collect it. Similarly, Lekh Bahadur Gaha from Mathagadhi Rural Municipality stated that receiving government services at home provides major relief for citizens in remote locations.
