Yeti Airlines has announced the suspension of its upper class ticket fares for flights departing from Kathmandu during the Dashain festival. The private carrier decided to halt these high-tier pricing options to manage the significant surge of passengers leaving the capital city for the annual celebrations. According to the company, this decision was made despite the financial challenges of the festive season. The airline noted that flights returning to Kathmandu during this period often run empty, which significantly increases overall fuel expenses. Despite these high operational costs, the carrier chose to prioritise passenger movement out of the valley. In contrast to the outbound rush, Yeti Airlines is offering very low fares for its returning flights to Kathmandu. Additionally, the company has extended its festive greetings for the Bada Dashain 2083 occasion, wishing peace, prosperity, happiness, and good health to all of its passengers and well-wishers.
