The Nepalese stock market registered a recovery on Tuesday, ending a two-day losing streak. The benchmark NEPSE index climbed by 11.96 points, which represents an increase of 0.82 percent, to settle at 2,578.73 points by the end of the trading session. This positive movement brings some relief to investors after the market faced downward pressure during the previous two consecutive sessions. During Tuesday's trading, a total of 169 companies saw their share prices rise, while 95 companies registered declines, and 15 remained unchanged. Trishuli Hydropower emerged as the top gainer of the day, with its share price increasing by 5.11 percent. Other companies, including Sarbottam Paints, also witnessed active trading, though the market as a whole has yet to break past the key 3,200 level. In terms of financial transactions, Ghalemdi Hydropower recorded the highest individual turnover of the day, reaching Rs 239.1 million. Liberty Energy followed as the second most traded company, posting a turnover of Rs 139.1 million. The total market turnover for the day stood at Rs 3.1381 billion, a slight decrease from the previous session's turnover of Rs 3.27 billion.
