Koshi Province prepares draft legislation to establish youth council

The government of Koshi Province is advancing preparations to introduce a specific legislative measure known as the Koshi Province Youth Council (Formation and Operation) Act. According to the Ministry of Social Development, discussions regarding the preliminary draft of the bill are presently ongoing. This initial framework has been prepared with the intention of being submitted to the cabinet for formal review following the completion of current administrative talks within the provincial administration based in Biratnagar. The legislative process for the proposed youth council is moving forward under the responsibility of Minister Geeta Timsina. Although the draft has drawn characterisations concerning its structural approach in public discussions, official deliberations continue within the ministry as authorities work to finalise the text prior to its formal introduction to the provincial cabinet.
