NIC Asia Capital has expanded the total size of the NIC Asia Equity Opportunity Fund from NPR 800 million to NPR 1 billion. Operating as the issue and sales manager as well as the scheme manager, the company implemented the revision after applicant demand exceeded the volume of units initially placed on offer during the public issue. The adjustment was carried out under provisions set out in the prospectus cleared by the Securities Board of Nepal alongside the Mutual Fund Guidelines, 2069. These regulatory clauses permit managers to lift the overall size of an issue by as much as 25 percent and distribute supplementary units whenever total public applications outstrip the baseline allotment. Following the conclusion of the offering, the capital manager conveyed appreciation to the Securities Board of Nepal, CDS and Clearing Limited, alongside participating C-ASBA member financial institutions and every applicant who took part in the offering for the sixth closed-end mutual fund scheme.
